One of the activities that I enjoy the most is :
Each day a new word
A good way to start every day at school is to learn a new word. Write the word in a big coloured card and show it to the class. Write the word in the IDB or in the traditional board. Use different colours and types.
Mimic the meaning of the word. Ask some children to help you mimic the word.
Children were excited to guess what is it and they won't forget it. Reward the child who guess the word.
